Dear Susan and Bill,
We wanted to thank you for more than 15 years of love with our precious Hazel. Billy, my husband (well, boyfriend at the time), reached out in 2007 asking if you had a dachshund puppy that was a smooth coat with a chocolate nose. To our amazement, you replied you had just the puppy, and the rest is history.
Hazel had the most incredibly soft fur; her mom (short hair) and dad (long hair) created a plush coat. She had the best temperament and the proudest walk. Folks would ask if she was a show dog, she wasn’t, but you could tell she came from a proud lineage. Hazel never had any health issues, even when she passed away this past October 2022. Her vet of 15 years said she was a shining example of a senior dog.
Hazel has stayed a San Diego doggie her whole life, and we even did regular meet-ups with the San Diego Dachshund Club – a great community of those who love Dachshunds.
Thank you, Susan and Bill, for answering our email, inviting us to your home (showing us Hazel’s mom and dad), and providing us with an unforgettable family member. Hazel had a long and happy life with us because you guys are passionate about what you do.
Forever grateful,
Tiffany, Billy, Sean, and Preston
