This is CH “ALECK” as we first saw him pictured as a promising puppy. After Aleck was shipped to us from Canada he walked into the ring and started winning. He finished his Championship in short order and is now watching his youngsters strut there stuff in the show ring.

Anthony finished his AKC Championship at the San Diego Dachshund Club’s show on February 25, 2022. Pictured is Judge Dr. Judith Newton, who awarded Anthony Best of Winners. (With this win, Bill and Nuforest Dachshunds retired San Diego Dachshund Club’s oldest remaining Challenge Trophy)
CH “ALPHA” came to us as a puppy from Ada McCord. Ray McGinnis (now an AKC Judge) was our professional handler in 1987 and guided Alpha quickly to her Championship. The judge in this photo is Doug Shipley.
This photo shows CH “ANDY” being awarded Winners Dog (for a Major) by Judge Mrs. Keke Kahn while the Show Chairperson looks on. Bill is handling Andy.
Annabelle was shown to her AKC Championship Lee Ann in Colorado. We are so proud of them!
This picture of our CH “ANNIE” was taken in Colorado at Roaring Fork Kennel Club on July 12, 2003. The judge was Mr. Douglas Shipley and the handler was Ric Plaut. This was a 3 point Major Win and she was also awarded Best Opposite Sex. Annie finished her championship the next day with another 3 point Major Win.
CH “Arta” is shown finishing her Championship at Electric City Kennel Club on June 21, 2003. The judge awarding her Winners Bitch and Best of Winners is Mrs. Linda Scanlon. Bill is in the photo handling our fuzzy little heart of the artichoke.
This is a photo of our lovely CH “BARBIE” taking her first major win. The show was Central Ohio Kennel Club and the date was April 23, 1995. The judge was Mr. Michael Sosne and Barbie’s hander was Hannalore Heller.
Barbie was 27 months of age when this photo was taken. There is another photo of Barbie on our wirehaired Dachshund page and below that was taken when Barbie was 143 months of age….still lovely at almost 12 years old!!
As of the date of the following photo, Barbie is the proud dam of 8 AKC CHAMPIONS: CH NUFOREST TOY STORY MW, CH NUFOREST RAG DOLL MW, CH NUFOREST JEEYI JEAUX MW, CH NUFOREST BARBIEZ GUY MW, CH NUFOREST BARBIEZ DOLL MW, NUFOREST BARBED WIRE MW, CH NUFOREST BAR B PISTOL PETE MW and CH NUFOREST BAR B PECOS PETE MW. No wonder Barbie was recognized by the Dachshund Club of America as: the NUMBER 2 TOP PRODUCER — WIREHAIRED BITCH in 2002!
CH “BEAMER” is a handsome black & tan miniature wirehaired Dachshund. He is pictured here finishing his Championship and being handled by Karen Kurtzner.
