Dear Bill and Susan,

Scooter

I just wanted to let you know how Scooter is doing. We picked him up on Saturday and he has been wonderful. He cried all night the first night. While he was exploring the house the next day he found something that has been a godsend. As you can see in the picture he loves to sleep in between shoes. I guess they are his new brothers and sisters. Now he has a pair of my old shoes in his kennel that he constantly curls against.

Thank you for a wonderful puppy. He is so happy and really becoming bonded to us. You can be sure that I will recommend Nuforest in the future.

Hi All,

I just found your website while killing time on the Internet with the great picture of CH Beamer.  I thought you might be interested in catching up on Sadie, the love of my life, a daughter of CH Beamer ex Nuforest Blue Genes.  She topped out at about 7 1/2 to 8 lb. 8 when she goes on a binge!  She is a small tyrant and rules the roost around here including her 100 lb golden retriever brother who is sure she is the Tasmanian Devil and is basically completely buffaloed by her.  She goes to work with me every day and has every day for 7 years. She pretty much runs my grooming business as well.  All the clients know and love her.  Keep up the good work and thanks for my little friend!

Phantom (the smaller) and Guinness are pictured at the 2003 San Diego Dachshund Club’s Summer Picnic wearing their patriotic bandanas. We gave every NUFOREST DACHSHUND attending the picnic one of these bandanas and then all gathered together for a group photo near the end of the day. We were thrilled to have such a large turn out and handed out dozens of red, white & blue neckerchiefs. Such Fun!!

Mr. & Mrs. Schaffner love Penelope, their new little NUFOREST miniature smooth puppy.

Hey Bill and Susan –

I hope this find you well. We cannot tell you how often we thought of you during the fires. We hope you faired okay. I just thought you should know what a talented hunter Noelle has turned out to be.

We have very recently become involved w/earthdog as well as field trials. Noelle achieved her Jr. earthdog title in just one weekend, and placed 4th in her first field trial. We are planning on trying for her Sr. title in February and attending another trial in March.

It seemed like you should know what a great hunter you produced, not to mention the sweetest girl ever!!

We just wanted to thank you again!!

Max (a NUFOREST miniature red wirehair) and doxie friend Gus, live in Texas most of the year with their owners, Mr. & Mrs. Greenberg.

When it is time for a vacation they travel to their summer-home on the Atlantic sea shore.  I wonder if we should offer to accompany them as they might need someone to walk the dogs on the beach.

This is Jenny who was sold as a pet to The Rosendahl Family as an 8 week old puppy.
Jenny is a red miniature wire.

The Rosendahl’s keep her coat neat and tidy with frequent visits to the grooming shop near their home.

Guinness, purchased as a puppy from NUFOREST, is an 18-month-old black and tan Dachshund. She was named after the Irish beer and the common black and tan drink.

She loves to hike in the Eastern Sierra and sit in her sling-carrier while fly fishing with her person. Guinness also enjoys playing fetch with old tennis balls.

Savannah is a 15-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Her name comes from the savannah region in Africa where her breed hunts lions.  Savannah also hikes and fly fishes with her person. On these trips, she carries her own backpack because she drank all of her person’s water on their first trip.

Both Guinness and Savannah enjoy long walks, sun baths on the pool deck and chewing nyla-bones. The dogs are best friends, fighting and playing like true siblings.

Guinness is a mini dachshund at 9 pounds while sister Savannah is 75 pounds and still growing.
