Hope you, family, and all your dachshunds are doing well.
Hard to believe Charli Anne turned one 2/202024. She and Sasha are best buddies. Sasha will be three in April. Here are a few photos to share with all the Nuforest Dachshund families.
My son and I got our mini long-haired dachshund from you three years ago, right around Christmas 2020 (she was born 10/20/2020). She is such a sweet girl and has enriched our life so much. We can’t imagine life without her! Her name is Reina and she is a great buddy to my son and such a sweet, funny little doggie. I wanted to thank you, she really has changed our lives!
I am contemplating getting another dachshund as a companion for her because I am at work during the day. I’m not sure if I’m ready to have two dachshunds but I wanted to ask if I could come look at the long-haired puppies you have? I am thinking of a male. Also, is it a good idea to bring Reina with us to see the dogs or best to leave her at home?
Here are some photos of our Reina girl! And the cream longhaired is a picture that I took of her father when we picked her up from you. Her mother was a shorthaired, brindle black/tan.
Reina has the most beautiful, unique coloring! And we love her temperament. She loves her toys/balls and playing fetch (even though she doesn’t always bring it back) and she loves the water, she’s a great swimmer! She has been camping and boating and on an airplane. she’s such a great dog.
Proud owners of Mister Peanut now 15 1/2 and Frank E McWeiner, 3+ – remember Frank E’s drop off day – a day we’ll all never forget – the first “stay at home” day of the Corona. We broke the rules and left our homes, and it was the best thing that ever happened to us. Frank E is the smartest, most lovable, friendliest, caring, and well-trained dog we’ve ever owned – and a very athletic ball fetcher too. I’ve never had the opportunity to be a stay-at-home dog mom and Frank E had the benefit of work-from-home parents since the day you dropped him off (!) so he has a bond unlike any other.
Today, we were at an antique fair 60 miles from our home and spied the CUTEST wild bore pup we’ve ever seen and immediately rushed over to get the scoop.
Well, turns out she is also named Frankie and one of yours – six months old, and the couple says they only got ‘er because someone changed their mind. This Nuforest Frankie girl is so darn cute! We can’t get her out of our minds.
I was curious to know if this 6-month-old wild bore Frankie is related to our Frank E whelped 1/20/20 Lyons Mane/Canary in a Kohl Mine. I know how hard it is to “make” these. I remember seeing some wild bore in Mister Peanut’s lineage.
We still have three dogs – the two weiners and the Welsh Terrier. Two seniors is hard to manage, and we never planned to have three dogs for this long. Peanut is definitely a trooper – still suffering from his mystery sinus/coughing problems for four years now but doesn’t want to miss out, I guess.
When we are down to one again, I’ll be wild bore huntin’!!!
Here’s a recent pic of Buddy (Der Beste Fuand Des Mannes). He’s still so sweet and loves people and visits those who serve.
5 yrs 10 months old Love looking on your website every so often. I trust you all are doing great Lisa
One of his accomplishments last year was killing a rat 🐀, bringing it through the doggy door, and swinging it’s tail like he was a cowboy 🤠 😂. He will be visiting our Military and Firemen as soon as we feed them and visit the Fire Stations in our city as we take Thanksgiving meals to each station.
He absolutely loves a retired Police Officer I see weekly with his wife and has to lick the Officer’s ears every time he sees him 😂.
The Postman is still a robber to him 😂 as he vocalizes his bark to let him know not to enter our house.
Learned to swim and loves it! He suddenly loves to swim now at our daughter’s pool in Temecula when my husband is in the water.
