About the Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund
The Wirehaired Dachshund combines the familiar shape and affectionate nature of the Dachshund with a distinctive textured coat. Wirehairs are often playful, alert, and interested in everything happening around them.
Their coats give them a charming, slightly rugged appearance. Individual coat texture, coloring, furnishings, and personality will vary from puppy to puppy, making each one unique.
Prospective families should be prepared for routine coat care, nail trimming, dental care, and the normal training and socialization needed by every young puppy.
