Woody

Hello

I hope all is well with you.

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of Woody who is now 18 months old.

He is the light of our lives. He loves the water and chasing our cats. Just the best little guy ever.

Thank you again for letting us adopt him as he has given our lives something we were missing after our Walt passed away.  He is healthy and thriving and such a beautiful boy.

All the best to you and your many pups.

Truly

This is our newest miniature longhaired AKC Champion.  And she is a JOY!

Perhaps you can see some of her Russian Champion sire in her. (Look for our CH IVAN on these pages to see what traits they share.)

Joy is pictured here with our professional handler Curtiss Smith and the judge, Judith Brown, who awarded Joy her first 4-point Major Win Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Red Canyon Kennel Club of Southern Utah afternoon show. It only took a few more weeks for Joy to become AKC CHAMPION NUFOREST ALMOND JOY MLD.  Hopefully, we’ll get her latest photo up on this site soon.

CH Lizzy, one of our red piebald miniature wirehairs, is shown with Bill on the day she finished her AKC Championship.  The judge, Pat Trotter (pictured), awarded Lizzy a 5-point major win at the Red Canyons Kennel Club of Southern Utah’s morning show.

Reina

Hello!

My son and I got our mini long-haired dachshund from you three years ago, right around Christmas 2020 (she was born 10/20/2020). She is such a sweet girl and has enriched our life so much. We can’t imagine life without her! Her name is Reina and she is a great buddy to my son and such a sweet, funny little doggie. I wanted to thank you, she really has changed our lives!

I am contemplating getting another dachshund as a companion for her because I am at work during the day. I’m not sure if I’m ready to have two dachshunds but I wanted to ask if I could come look at the long-haired puppies you have?  I am thinking of a male. Also, is it a good idea to bring Reina with us to see the dogs or best to leave her at home?

Here are some photos of our Reina girl! And the cream longhaired is a picture that I took of her father when we picked her up from you. Her mother was a shorthaired, brindle black/tan.

Reina has the most beautiful, unique coloring! And we love her temperament.  She loves her toys/balls and playing fetch (even though she doesn’t always bring it back) and she loves the water, she’s a great swimmer! She has been camping and boating and on an airplane.  she’s such a great dog.

Talk to you soon,
