Daisy sends you Christmas greetings! 

She has been with us for just over 5 years now, and still has the energy of a puppy. She is very playful and loves to wrestle with her 3 brothers. She is also a fierce guardian of our house and very protective of us. She knows her domain for sure! A happy and healthy little sprite, we love her dearly and are so glad you allowed us to adopt her. She has brightened our lives considerably.

Dear Bill & Susan,
Thank you for the nice postcard.

Kubic is doing well. He brings me a lot of joy and happiness. We do everything together. 

He also got a sidekick, George, a male cat of the same age, to keep Kubic company for the times when I am at work. 

I know someday I will come back to take a 2nd look at one or two puppies, but not right now. 

Kubic is healthy. He was allergic to what I think was a kitty litter, but this issue has been resolved.

Cooper is 6 months old and 10 pounds.

He is the love & joy of all our family. He loves everyone he meets. He is irresistible to any person who sees him, as he is so very cute. We have found him very intelligent, playful, loving, and every day he brings laughter and joy.

We purchased one of Johnny D’Good’s little wire girls in April. Her name is Scout.  She is clearly very intelligent and able to learn in her doggie training classes, though she has often been easily distracted. Now she is almost 1 year old, and in a couple of weeks, so I will try again.  It would be great if she could get her Good Canine certification and go with me to my school occasionally. 

She loves to greet everyone!  Attached are a few photos of her with my George (13 years) and Eve, who we think was also a Nuforest-bred girl. 19 in April.  She and her brother, Adam, lived in Huntington Beach until their owner died, and we rescued them from SoCal Dachshund Relief about 4 years ago. 

Adam crossed, but Eve is extremely healthy, as is little Scout.  Scout needs training to have more confidence, or so the Human Society teacher told me. 

Anyway, thank you. She is a joy!

Thank you for the Christmas card! Here is a recent photo of Hilde and her sister, Tasha, out in the fields near our home. She is now 16 months old and is quite stubborn, especially about potty training! We love her to pieces just the same.

Born 8-25-25 and adopted on 11-1-25… Wolfie has been such a good baby and is slowly turning into a well-mannered young man.  My husband and I thank you for the opportunity to own such a great Wirehaired Dachshund and wanted to share his growth with our family,
