We got CH “Bo” as an adult from Ellen Bourgeois and Mary Karat when they stopped breeding and showing miniature Dachshunds. CH ELENBUSCH RAINBOW’S END MW was born June 4, 1976 and we had him until he was 18 years of age. Bo’s sire was CH MAY’S HAP-PEA TORPEDO MW and Bo’s dam was CH ELENBUSCH HOLLY GOLIGHTLY MW

This red mini wirehair is our CH “BOB”. Doug and Mandy Carlson, professional handlers showed Bob and several of our other miniature Dachshunds to their Championships. This photo shows Bob at HEART OF AMERICA KENNEL CLUB.

We did not get a Bred By Exhibitor Medallion from the AKC because Boomer’s first points came from the Puppy Class (pictured here). Boomer finished his AKC Championship under judge, Mrs. C. M. Barton at Lost Dutchman Kennel Club in Arizona, March 12, 2005.

This photo of CH “BUZZ” shows a handsome miniature wirehaired Champion….but you need to look under all the hair to see the dog! This picture was taken just before Bill pulled his coat and began the process of getting Buzz ready to be shown as a Special. It takes about 60 days for a wirehaired Dachshund to go from this shaggy look to the sleek perfectly groomed dog you see in the showing.

Dasher is a red & white brindled piebald miniature wirehaired Dachshund. Dasher is the grandson of our CH DASTROPEN BUGZSAW MW. Watch for this handsome boy in the show ring beginning March of 2003.
Dasher is not for sale, but his full brother might be. Inquiries welcome.
